Founder of Workie Ticket Theatre
JoJo Kirtley, originally from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne has spent the last 13 years, living and working in Manchester as a writer, producer and educator. Her work has been performed at The Lowry Theatre, Live Theatre and the 24:7 Theatre Festival. She is also the mother of two little boys.
Now back up North, JoJo aims to produce new-writing and create strong female leads with a Geordie twist. She is particularly interested in producing work in non-traditional theatre spaces, engaging disadvantaged groups in the community, facilitating workshops and making theatre accessible for all.
